Power has been restored in major urban areas and hospitals in south China's Hainan Province after devastation caused by Typhoon Yagi.
Officials from the province's emergency command center briefed the media on the latest situation on September 9. Two-way traffic has also been restored on most provincial and national highways, while county and township roads have been mostly cleared.
