Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Wednesday met with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Wang said China appreciates Serbia's firm friendship and strong support for China's core interests and will firmly support Serbia in safeguarding its sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
China will continue to uphold fairness and justice in the international community, said Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
Vulin said Serbia highly appreciates China's principled stance and equal treatment in international affairs and is grateful for China's long-standing valuable support.
Serbia looks forward to learning from China's successful experiences and advancing cooperation in various fields to achieve more positive results, Vulin added.
