As the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, a traditional bakery in Taiyuan, northern China's Shanxi Province, has been busy making Guodulin mooncakes, a national intangible cultural heritage. Dating back more than 300 years, Guodulin mooncake making has been preserved by local craftspeople who continue to make it the traditional way, which comprises 36 steps.
