China's top seed Wang Chuqin defeated Wong Chun Ting of Hong Kong, China in straight games to cruise into the second round of the WTT Champions Macao on Tuesday.

Wang took the first game 11-5, and continued with the momentum to win the second 11-9.
Wong battled back in the third leading 7-5, but Wang regained his advantage to seal the deal 11-9 and reach the last 16.
This was Wang's first international appearance after the Paris Olympics, where he won the mixed doubles and men's team titles, but suffered a shock defeat to Truls Moregard in the men's singles after having his bat broken.
Meanwhile, as the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) released the latest world rankings, Wang and his mixed doubles partner Sun Yingsha continue to sit top of the men's and women's singles table.
Wang and Olympic champion Fan Zhendong took up the men's top two positions. On the women's side, China's Sun, Chen Meng, Wang Manyu and Wang Yidi continued to rank in the top four.
