The fifth SCO Forum on Women was held in the coastal city of Qingdao from September 10-12. For the first time, Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the forum, which focused on the topic of using digitalization to empower women and female participation in the economy. One hundred and fifty Chinese and foreign participants met in person to exchange ideas and establish forms of cooperation.
