Take an evening stroll through Jingzhou ancient city, with its 2,600 years of history, and explore its unique historical charm under the moonlight.
The ancient city wall of Jingzhou is the most completely preserved ancient city wall in southern China. Jingzhou was built during the Spring and Autumn Period (770 BC-476 BC) and the Warring States Period (475 BC-221 BC). The ancient city, where the culture of the Three Kingdoms (220 AD-280 AD) was born, was once a strategically important military area. Famous stories from the historical novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms," such as "Liu Bei Borrowed Jingzhou" and "Guan Yu Carelessly Lost Jingzhou" took place there.
