"Notre-Dame de Paris: The Augmented Exhibition" has opened at the National Museum of China. It combines augmented reality technology with physical displays to create a captivating experience for visitors.
Using tablets, visitors can explore Notre-Dame's history and its reconstruction after it was gutted by a fire in 2019. The exhibition traces the cathedral's journey since its founding in 1163, highlighting key historical moments, its architectural beauty, and various restoration efforts.
Having opened on September 11, the show is a centerpiece of the celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of Sino-French diplomatic relations and the China-France Year of Culture and Tourism.
