China's Finance Ministry announced on Friday that it has banned auditing giant PwC from conducting business in the country for six months due to its work with troubled property developer China Evergrande Group.
Authorities also fined PwC Zhong Tian LLP, the registered accounting entity and main onshore arm of PwC in China, 116 million yuan (around $16.3 million).
