Hukou Waterfall has entered its best viewing season for tourists in Jixian County, north China's Shanxi Province. Local officials say from September to October every year, the waterfall's discharge surges to around 1,500 cubic meters per second. The rapid flow of water also carries more sediment than usual, giving the waterfall a golden tint.
