China Trade in Services Fair: Entrepreneurs' summit on trade in services highlights cross-border services, global trade

One of the world's leading platforms for global trade, the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services or Cif-tis, is underway in Beijing. Friday's major event was the Global Entrepreneurs Summit on Trade in Services. Delegates to the entrepreneurs' summit and a report released at the forum called for enhancing openness, promoting liberalization, and removing trade barriers to lower costs and nurture new drivers for growth in global trade. The report also reviewed the impact of high-level openness in this sector, assessed regulations and policy trends of major economies, and shared China's experience in advancing openness in trade in services.
