Officials from the Chinese Defense Ministry and the U.S. Department of Defense held the 18th defense policy coordination talks in Beijing on September 14 and 15, exchanging in-depth views on China-U.S. military relations, interactions in the next stage and issues of common concern, according to the Chinese Defense Ministry on Sunday. 

The meeting was co-chaired by the deputy chief of the Office for International Military Cooperation of China's Central Military Commission and deputy assistant secretary of defense of the U.S. Department of Defense.
