In just half a second, photo enthusiasts in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, captured images of the China Space Station flying past the sun. Using publicly available information about the space station's orbit, they calculated that it would fly past Lianyungang at 10:07:38. When the time came, the cameras clicked and the photographers captured sensational images.
To take the pictures, the space station, the sun and the photographer had to be at a certain angle to each other, and the sunlight had to be strong. The photographers also had to adjust the exposure and other parameters to capture the decisive moment.
