In Suzhou City in East China's Jiangsu Province, the municipal government elevated the emergency response to Level-1 as Typhoon Bebinca, the 13th this year, landed on Monday morning. The city has mobilized a total of 30,000 municipal workers, including electricians and police officers, to be on call in case of any emergency. Plus, all public buses and food delivery services have been ordered to halt operations.

It has also forced the closure of tourist attractions in neighboring Zhejiang Province and Shanghai, and disrupted train services in these regions.
