Former Fed vice chair: Important to start and keep cutting rates

The U.S. central bank Federal Reserve on Wednesday lowered its interest rate by a half percentage point, or 50 basis points, amid signs that inflation was moderating and the labor market was weakening. The important point is to start and continue cutting rates because the markets will anticipate, said former Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Donald Kohn in an interview with CGTN's He Jingyi.
