During the just-concluded Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, tourists flocked to the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring scenic spot in Dunhuang, Gansu Province to enjoy the fun of camel riding while experiencing the stunning desert views. The scenic spot received nearly 330,000 visitors during the three-day holiday and generated tourism revenue totaling 242.3 million yuan (around 34.2 million U.S. dollars), according to local cultural and tourism bureaus.
