British heavyweight champions Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois will fight each other in front of 96,000 fans on Saturday for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt, currently held by Dubois. Held at Wembley Stadium, the fight will be the largest boxing event in Britain since World War II.

"It can happen in a variety of ways. I'm not depending on punch power; it takes a lot more to be a great fighter. I'll break him down with my spirit," Joshua said. "I showed Daniel and his whole team the respect they deserve through my training camp and that's going to put me in good stead. I'm tough, so is he. May the best man win. Joshua will enter the bout with four straight wins, but before those victories, he lost all of his four belts to Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine in August 2022. Usyk vacated the IBF title in late June after Dubois beat Filip Hrgovic of Croatia via eighth-round technical knockout (TKO) on June 1 to become the interim champion.

"I need to retain it and hold on to it. I need to legitimize myself by winning this fight," Dubois said. "It's a resurrection story of my career. I just want the biggest challenges and make a name for myself and create history."

Joshua Buatsi of Britain will fight compatriot Willy Hutchinson for the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) interim light heavyweight belt on Thursday night. Anthony Cacace of Ireland will defend his IBF junior lightweight title against Josh Warrington of Britain.
