China reiterated on Friday its firm opposition to Japan's discharge of nuclear-contaminated wastewater from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the ocean. Japan has agreed to establish a long-term international monitoring arrangement, including independent sampling by China, to oversee the discharged water.
