Six types of acts that seriously infringe upon children's rights were identified in a resolution previously passed by the United Nations on the issue of children and armed conflict. Bragi Gudbrandsson, vice chairman of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, stressed that Israel's military actions in the Gaza Strip have already touched upon three of these acts.
