The Palestinian death toll from Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since the outbreak of the current round of Israeli-Hamas conflict began on October 7 has risen to 41,391, Gaza-based health authorities said in a statement Saturday. There is growing fear across the Middle East that the conflict could spill over and escalate into a full-scale regional war. Meanwhile, the Israel-Hezbollah conflict escalated this week, also stoking fears of regional war.
