China clinched four titles at the Badminton World Federation (BWF) China Open in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, on Sunday.

Home favorite Weng Hongyang beat Japan's Kodai Naraoka in the men's final.

This was the fourth time the duo faced each other with Naraoka winning two of their three previous meetings. But this time, Weng was in better form in front of his home crowd, controlling the first game from the net to take an early 10-7 lead.

The 25-year-old went on to win the opener 21-17 with a powerful smash. The world number 36 maintained the momentum and claimed the second 21-12 when his opponent hit wide. This was Weng's maiden 1000-level title, and after the match, he gave much of the credit to his coach.

"This is my first Super 1000 title and I feels really happy. Ahead of the final, my coach made detailed tactical plans for me and I executed well in the contest. I think this is the key for today's victory," Weng said.
