This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. In the early days of the republic, assistance from other countries played an important role in its development. Tune in to the special episode of Global South Voices and get the answers with host Mushahid Hussain Sayed, former chairman of Pakistan's Senate Defense Committee.

Guests in this edition of Global South Voices are Harry Kamboni, member of Parliament of Zambia; Carlos Ferreyra, global governance expert and an activist on climate change; John Pang, senior fellow of the Belt and Road Initiative Caucus for Asia Pacific (BRICAP)and Keith Bennett, co-founder of the Friends of Socialist China.
