September 23 is International Day of Sign Languages, which seeks to raise public awareness of the rights of the deaf community and other sign language users. Naga Tree Cafe is the country's first accessible coffee shop and a local employment and entrepreneurship support space for people with disabilities. The store's deaf baristas found work through the platform. The coffee shop boasts a gently sloping passageway, a braille guide map, an accessible toilet and handrails on the wall. Ren Jiayi, the cafe's founder, also hangs wind chimes at the entrance to help people with vision impairments find the door. As a representative of the 7th National Congress of the Disabled Persons' Federation, Ren is committed to using the business model to do public welfare and benefit people with disabilities using science and technology. Follow CGTN's Mi Sutong into Ren's coffee shop to learn about the renovation of accessible facilities in the shop and his entrepreneurial story.
