Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China, reaffirmed China's commitment to supporting the International Olympic Committee (IOC), during a meeting with IOC President Thomas Bach in New York on Monday.
He emphasized that China will continue to enhance mutual understanding among nations and promote world peace and development.
Wang commended Bach for his significant contributions to the Olympic Games. In response, Bach expressed his gratitude for China's long-standing support of the IOC and the Olympic Games, noting his eagerness to maintain close cooperation with China.
