As the home of Yinxu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the origin of oracle bone script, recognized as a UNESCO Memory of the World, Anyang is often referred to as the "City of Characters." It is one of the early centers of Chinese civilization, a historical and cultural city, the birthplace of the oracle bone script, and the origin for the "I Ching," or "Book of Changes."

Whether it’s the breathtaking natural scenery, the rich historical relics, or the national treasures displayed in the museums, each themed route offers visitors a chance to explore Anyang’s profound history, vibrant culture, and scenic beauty, allowing them to fully appreciate the city’s unique charm.

During the promotional event in Anyang, 12 cultural and tourism projects were signed off, representing a total investment of around 2.3 billion yuan ($330 million).
