Chinese commercial carrier rocket Lijian-1 Y4 (or Kinetica-1) sent five satellites into orbit on Wednesday morning.
At 7:33 am Beijing time on September 25, 2024, the Lijian-1 Y4 commercial launch vehicle blasted off from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, sending five satellites—including the Jilin-1 SAR01A satellite, Yunyao-1 21 and Yunyao-1 22 satellites—into orbit.
This is the fourth flight mission of Lijian-1 launch vehicle, and it's the model's first successful launch for dawn-dusk sun-synchronous orbit. These satellites are mainly used for land census, meteorological observations and other tasks.
