Beijing Daxing International Airport celebrates 5th anniversary

The 2024 International Conference on Sustainable Development of Airport Economic Zones (AEZ) opened in Beijing on Wednesday. The event coincides with celebrations marking five years since the opening of Beijing Daxing International Airport. As one of the world's largest airports, Daxing airport has operated efficiently over the past five years, hosting 65 Chinese and international airlines and serving more than 127 million passengers. Carriers using the airport cover 216 passenger routes and 197 destinations in 25 countries and regions. The event also witnessed the signing of contracts related to Daxing AEZ development and the launch of plans to construct the "Global Data Gateway" within Daxing AEZ.
