Anji County, in east China’s Zhejiang Province, is the birthplace of the country's "two mountains" theory, which states that "lucid water and lush mountains are invaluable assets." With an expected output value of 19 billion yuan ($2.71 billion) in 2024, Anji has fully leveraged the valuable attributes of bamboo to replace plastic – truly turning bamboo into something as valuable as gold. Follow CGTN's Hou Jing to see how many everyday items can be made from bamboo.
