"Degong Bulong" means the giant panda to the Gyalrong Zang people, who live in Qiaoqi Zang Township in southwest China's Sichuan Province. The Gyalrong people live a pastoral life. As the residential area overlaps with the panda habitat, it is not rare for the local Zang people to encounter pandas in the mountains. For the Gyalrong people, pandas are regarded as divine animals, and they even composed a song for them.
