The two-day Summit of the Future concluded at the United Nations headquarters in New York on Monday evening with the adoption of the Pact for the Future. The pact covers a broad range of themes, including peace and security, sustainable development and climate change.

Iranian Faezeh Mirzabeh is currently studying communications at China's Tsinghua University. She told CGTN Stringer that effective communication is crucial in responding to climate change and issues like economic inequality, in view of the complex international situation and global security deficit. Young people from various countries, she said, have innovative perspectives on issues including global governance and multilateralism, so their voices should be heard and amplified.
