Professor Zeng Yi from the Institute of Automation at the Chinese Academy of Sciences said on CGTN's Dialogue special "Journey to Modernization" that pressure from the the U.S. will not hurt China in the long term, and to some extent has even promoted the development of the country's artificial intelligence (AI) sector. He believes that China and the U.S. have an obligation to help other countries build up AI capacity and make it a global good for all.
