An international forum on culture and tourism development of Silk Road cities was held in Kunming, southwest China's Yunnan Province.

Among activities that took place during the event were the launch ceremony for the first such forum in Kunming and an annual meeting of Silk Road cities.

The forum was attended by Wang Hao, vice governor of Yunnan, Francesco Frangialli, honorary secretary-general of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, and others.
