Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Saturday vowed support for Hezbollah and called on Muslims to confront Israel.

"All the resistance forces of the region are with Hezbollah and support it," the supreme leader said, according to state media, citing a statement issued after the Israeli army said it had killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

"The fate of this region will be determined by the forces of resistance, with Hezbollah at the forefront," the statement added.
