China Media Group (CMG) and Renmin University of China (RUC) have formalized their partnership by signing a strategic cooperation framework agreement aimed at developing the School of Journalism. This collaboration focuses on leveraging each party's strengths to enhance talent training, develop think tanks, and create innovative platforms.

The agreement seeks to establish a robust talent foundation to enhance the leadership and dissemination of news, striving to create a well-regarded and cutting-edge mainstream media platform on an international scale.

Zhou Yong, deputy dean of the School of Journalism and Communication at RUC, highlighted that the two organizations will work closely on initiatives such as integrated international communication talent cultivation ranging from bachelor's to doctoral levels, alongside training programs aimed at global media professionals.

This partnership is also poised to elevate news communication education in China and strengthen the nation's cultural soft power.

Liang Jianzeng, director of the Editorial Office of CMG, mentioned the intent to collaborate on developing high-quality curricula, forming a core team of experts, building practical training facilities, and establishing a premier think tank.

Moreover, they plan to jointly create a center dedicated to excellence in talent development in journalism and communication, alongside an intelligent communication innovation laboratory, and will kick off various research projects as part of this cooperation.
