President of the New Development Bank and former Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff said she is honored to receive the Friendship Medal and will continue to facilitate development between Brazil and China.
Rousseff spoke at a ceremony at which the country's highest state honors were awarded at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Sunday, ahead of the 75th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China.
