Tens of thousands have fled Lebanon to neighboring Syria over the past week to escape Israeli attacks. Gonzalo Vargas Llosa, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees representative in Syria, on September 27 said that more than 30,000 people had crossed from Lebanon into Syria over the previous three days. CGTN Stringer traveled to the border between Syria and Lebanon and interviewed families displaced from Lebanon. Khalil Al-Bazid said his life had been turned upside down. "We had a good lifestyle and suddenly we became displaced," he added.
