The U.S. Central Command said on Sunday that its forces killed 37 "terrorist operatives" in two airstrikes this month in Syria, with the dead including many senior leaders of the "terrorist organizations of ISIS and Hurras al-Din, an Al-Qaeda affiliate."
The military said in a statement that the strikes took place on September 16 and 24, adding that there was no indication any civilians were harmed.
