During a visit to Malaysia in June 2024, Chinese Premier Li Qiang signed agreements allowing fresh Malaysian durians to be imported into China. At the recently concluded 21st China-ASEAN Expo, Malaysian durians emerged as a popular product and a symbol of the strong ties between the two countries.
