The 2024 China International Confucius Cultural Festival, held in Qufu, east China's Shandong Province, showcased more than 140 works of intangible cultural heritage from across Shandong, offering visitors an immersive experience of Confucian and traditional Chinese culture.
The exhibition featured carefully selected works from across the province, representing such diverse art forms as pottery, glazed ceramics, embroidery, stone carving, and wood carving. These pieces highlighted Shandong's efforts to preserve, promote, and reinterpret Confucian ideals while safeguarding China's rich cultural heritage.
The festival, which runs from September 27 to October 7, offers an opportunity for people to appreciate how the ancient wisdom of Confucius continues to inspire craftsmanship and cultural expression today.
