Xie said that at this 45th anniversary year of the establishment of China-U.S. diplomatic relations, the relationship is again at a new starting point. "Mutual respect means we need to be partners, not rivals. Peaceful coexistence means we need to hold on to the baselines and avoid backpedaling. Win-win cooperation means we need to seek mutual benefit and reject a zero-sum game."

In Oslo, the capital of Norway, Chinese Ambassador to Norway Hou Yue said that over the past 75 years, the Chinese people, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), have continued to strive forward, creating the two miracles of rapid economic growth and enduring social stability. These presentations showcased the vibrant energy of contemporary China to Norwegian viewers, highlighted the friendly exchanges between the people of China and Norway, and illustrated the promising vision of mutual understanding and win-win cooperation between the two countries.

The Chinese Embassy in Slovakia hosted some 400 guests, including people from all walks of life in Slovakia and foreign diplomats based in Slovakia, during the reception.

While addressing the event, Slovak deputy parliament speaker Tibor Gaspar expressed the hope that the friendly relations between Slovakia and China will continue to grow.
