Hezbollah said in a statement on Wednesday that it clashed at dawn with Israeli infantry forces trying to "infiltrate" the town of Adaysseh in southern Lebanon, causing losses and forcing it to retreat. 

There are dead and injured among Israeli soldiers in the clashes in Adaysseh, Al Arabiya reported, citing sources.

The 36th Division of Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), including soldiers of the Golani Brigade, 188th Armored Brigade, 6th Infantry Brigade, and additional forces joined the limited, localized, targeted raids on Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, the IDF said on Tuesday.
