Chen Xingtong and Qian Tianyi overcame Sun Yingsha and Wang Yidi in four games in an all-Chinese final to win the women's doubles title during the World Table Tennis (WTT) China Smash in Beijing on Saturday.
At the Shougang Park, the first game proved to be competitive, and tied at 10 before Qian and Chen collected two points in a row to win it 12-10.
Qian and Chen also fought hard in the second game and saved four game points to take it 12-10 and led 2-0.
Wang and Sun cut the deficit by dominating the third game 11-3, capitalizing on Qian's mistake.
But a comeback was not on the cards as Qian and Chen won the fourth game 12-7 to win the match in just 35 minutes, claiming their second title after winning the WTT Star Contender Doha earlier this year.
