On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, known as Hamas, launched numerous rockets into Israeli territory in a military operation called the "Al-Aqsa Flood." In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promptly declared that Israel was in a state of war. A new round of conflict between Israel and Palestine has begun, and it has now been exactly one year since the escalation.
