Russian President Vladimir Putin will discuss the situation in the Middle East with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Friday in the Turkmen capital of Ashgabat, where he will be paying a working visit, TASS news agency reported Monday, citing Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov as saying.
Putin is not planning to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Ushakov said.
