The China Coast Guard says another two Philippine vessels illegally intruded into waters near Huangyan Island in the South China Sea on Tuesday.

In recent years, Chinese ships have been tracking and monitoring Philippine vessels near the island and have implemented control measures in a professional and lawful manner. Local Chinese fishermen once had access to abundant fishing resources but have been annoyed by intensive and illegal intrusions by Philippine vessels. Tensions have been rising, and the peaceful lives of the Chinese fishermen that lasted for centuries are being severely affected. CGTN's Wan Hongjia recently talked to some of them.
