World-renowned Chinese composer and conductor Tan Dun led the China National Symphony Orchestra on Tuesday to kick off its concert tour in France. Reporter Wang Siwen sat down with the conductor to discuss his musical style and his decades-long efforts to promote Chinese music around the world. Tan said: "Music is the ambassador of the world. Every time when we take music to travel, the world is changing constantly. From the 1990s until now, the China National Symphony Orchestra has been to many places sharing music. This time, I think it's very important for both countries of France and China."
