Death toll from Israeli airstrike in central Beirut rises to 22, with 117 injured

The death toll has risen to at least 22, with 117 people injured, after an Israeli airstrike targeted al-Noueiri, a densely populated area in central Beirut, on Thursday evening, the Lebanese Health Ministry said in its latest update.
The airstrike was reportedly aimed at Wafiq Safa, head of Hezbollah's Liaison and Coordination Unit, who, according to Al Jazeera, survived the attack.
