East China's Fujian Province is now home to the world's largest 26-megawatt offshore wind turbine. Its hub center is 185 meters high, equivalent to a 63-story building. With an average wind speed of 10 meters per second, a single unit can generate 100 million kilowatt-hours of clean energy annually. The turbine can power 55,000 households for a year, cutting CO2 emissions by over 80,000 tonnes.
