The Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) on Monday simultaneously conducted drills to the north and south of the island of Taiwan, including port blockades, regional power control, maritime assaults and land strikes, to test the troops' capabilities for multi-domain coordination, systematic confrontation and precision strikes.
