Over 100 black-necked cranes are preparing to migrate at Gansu Yanchiwan Wetlands in northwest China. By the mirror-like lakeside, these highland birds create a harmonious natural scene. With the efforts of local authorities, a favorable habitat has been established for various species of migratory birds. The population and number of bird species breeding and thriving in the area have been steadily increasing.
