World's largest space conference kicks off in Milan

03:14

Representatives in the space sector from all over the world have gathered in Milan for the 75th International Astronautical Congress.

From the most advanced satellite systems to artificial intelligence applications in space, an eye-catching display is being showcased at MICO Convention Centre, the largest conference facilities in Europe. For the first time, the lunar samples from the far side of the moon are being exhibited to the public. These were just brought back by China's Chang'e-6 mission earlier this year in June.

Organized by the International Astronautical Federation, the event runs from October 14 to 18. CGTN reporters Wu Lei and Huang Yichang bring us the latest from Italy.
